Sign in with Steam, create a community and add your WARDOGS server, ideally through Warcon with a read-only «View» API key. After the first successful check the server is verified and your community gets 100 starter credits. From then on you start seed calls from the dashboard and real players fill the server to its round start.
For WARDOGS server owners

Setup in five minutes
- Sign in with Steam and create a community. Use your community's name, not the server name.
- Add the server: choose a connection method (see below), the start threshold as set on the server (at least 20) and the server ID as join hint.
- Click «Add and verify». If the first check succeeds, the server is verified. Once we approve it, your community receives 100 starter credits (once per owner account).
- Optional: switch on queue priority for seeders and link Discord to get the «Server Owner» role.
Three ways to connect
- Warcon — recommended. Free, open-source RCON panel for WARDOGS, hosted at console.warcon.app or self-hosted. A key with «View» is enough, «Reserved slots» only for queue priority. Your RCON password stays in Warcon. Guide
- Direct RCON API — second choice. Address and password from the hoster panel; the password is stored encrypted and never shown again. Restrict the RCON port to our server IP in your hoster firewall.
- Flare — no credentials, only the public WARDOGS server ID. Seeders earn no points and there is no queue priority. Switch to Verified any time.
Community roles
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner | everything: servers, credentials, promotion, assign roles, remove members, transfer or delete the community |
| Admin | manage servers and credentials, start seed calls, «Check now», promotion |
| Caller | start seed calls and «Check now», no credentials |
| Member | seed; seeds on other communities' servers earn the community support credits |
Dashboard
The dashboard shows your community first: the status of every server, the seed call button with the reason when no call is possible right now, «Check now» and your members. Below follow other communities' servers that need players right now, and your own numbers. Every server also has a public statistics page with its success rate and busiest hours.
Support credits, promotion and balance
Support credits only come from your members seeding other communities' servers — seeding your own servers earns the players points, but no credits. For 100 credits your server is listed at the top for 24 hours; credits also pay for seed calls and the Spotlight. Credits cannot be bought.
Important: your own members only earn points on your server during a seed call (50 %). And communities that seed others get their calls listed further up.
FAQ
Who can start a seed call?
The community owner and members with the admin or caller role. Only owners and admins can change credentials and server settings.
What are the starter credits for?
When your community's first server is verified and approved, it receives 100 starter credits once (once per owner account). That pays for one promotion: 100 credits for 24 hours at the top of the lists.
What is the difference between points and support credits?
Points belong to the player: earned for every seed (half on your own servers), they count for rank and leaderboard. Support credits belong to the community: they are earned only when members seed other communities' servers, and pay for seed calls, promotion and the Spotlight — a community with many credits has provably done a lot for others.
What is the Spotlight?
A large spot on the home page. A community books it for 6 hours with 75 support credits (one block per day). It only shows while the server needs players; if it is never shown, the credits are refunded. With no booking it shows, for free, the server of the community that seeds most for others.
How do I get my players into the community?
In the dashboard under «Invite links» you create a link (member or caller, valid 1–30 days). Whoever opens it signs in with Steam and joins directly.
What happens if my server is offline?
From 7 days without a connection you see a notice, after 10 days the server is switched to inactive automatically. Switch it back on under «Edit server»; after 90 days inactive we delete the stored credentials.
Can I register a server twice?
No, every WARDOGS server ID exists only once. Remove the old entry first. If another community registered your ID, open a ticket.
Does a seed call cost anything?
A seed call you start by hand costs 10 support credits — about one seed a member gives to another community. If nobody earns points, they are refunded. Without enough credits one call a day is still possible; it waits behind paid calls. Flare calls are free.
Why does a balanced give/take matter?
Communities that also seed other servers rank higher in the call list and the queue. Those who only take drop down. There are no bans, just a fair order.
How do I reach the team?
Only through Discord: open a ticket at seedmyserver.com/support for help, bugs or abuse reports, and post ideas in the forum at seedmyserver.com/ideas.
Next step: add your server
Sign in with Steam, create a community, connect the server through Warcon. Then start your first seed call.
