WARDOGS queue priority and reserved slots for seeders

On participating WARDOGS servers, seedmyserver automatically adds everyone who seeded there recently to the reserved list, so they skip the queue on busy evenings. The owner enables it and chooses how many days it lasts. It needs RCON or a Warcon key with «Reserved slots»; we only ever remove entries we added ourselves.

How it works

WARDOGS servers have a reserved list: whoever is on it gets in even when the server is full and has a queue. seedmyserver maintains this list automatically on participating servers. Whoever seeded there goes on the list for the number of days the owner chose and is removed again afterwards. It is the WARDOGS version of a VIP slot, earned instead of bought.

Setup for owners

  1. Connect the server through RCON, or through Warcon with a key that has «Reserved slots» in addition to «View». Warcon guide
  2. In the server settings, switch on «Put recent seeders on the reserved list».
  3. Choose the duration: 1 to 60 days after a seed, default 7.

The list is synced every 5 minutes. We manage at most 50 entries per server and only ever remove entries we added ourselves. Your own VIPs stay untouched.

For seeders

Sign in with Steam before you seed; only then do we know your Steam ID. Seed a server that gives queue priority for at least 5 minutes during a call. Which servers do is shown in the call list («queue priority · N days») and on the page for players. Page for players

How do seeders get queue priority?

On participating servers, seedmyserver automatically puts everyone who seeded there in the last few days on the reserved list. The owner chooses how many days (1 to 60, default 7). The list is synced every 5 minutes.

Will seedmyserver remove my own reserved entries?

No. We only ever remove entries we added ourselves, and we manage at most 50 per server. Your own VIPs stay untouched.

Does queue priority work with a View-only Warcon key?

No. The key also needs «Reserved slots», or you connect the RCON API directly. Flare servers give no queue priority.

Can you buy queue priority?

No. It is only earned by seeding. seedmyserver has no paid features.
