Mutual seeding · no bots · no money

Your server needs 20 players to start. So does theirs.

seedmyserver connects communities that seed each other. Join a seed call, stay until the round starts, earn points. Spend them on queue priority, ranks and promotion for your own server.

How it works

3 steps

A server calls for seed

A server owner sets the start threshold their game needs. When the server sits below it, a seed call goes out to players and Discord.

You join and stay

Join through the call, play normally until the round starts. Presence is verified on the server — no check-in buttons, no AFK.

Points, ranks, priority

Every completed seed earns points for you and your community. Spend them on queue priority, ranks and promoting your own server.

Give and take

Communities have a balance: seeds given vs. seeds received. Those who only take drop in priority — no bans, no coercion, just a fair queue.

No bots, no farming

Points need a real round start, verified on the server. 15 minutes max per seed and cooldowns per server keep the ledger honest and the platform inside every publisher's rules.

FAQ

What is seedmyserver?

seedmyserver is a free platform where gaming communities seed each other's servers. Instead of paying players or using bots, members join a seed call, stay until the round starts and earn points, ranks and queue priority in return.

What is server seeding?

Many multiplayer games only start a round once a minimum number of players is on the server — WARDOGS needs at least 20. Seeding means players join an empty or low-population server so it reaches that threshold and fills up on its own.

How are points awarded?

Presence is verified on the game server itself via its query API (for example WARDOGS RCON). You earn points only if the round really starts, you were there before the start and you stay for the hold period. Points are capped at 15 minutes per seed, with cooldowns per server and per day.

Which games are supported?

WARDOGS is fully supported including verified presence and queue priority. Any game with a player-count API (BattleMetrics, Steam A2S) can post seed calls; more adapters are added on request.

What happens to communities that only take?

Every community has a give/take balance. Communities that only receive seeds drop in the call priority — there are no bans and no coercion, just a fair queue. Suspicious loops are visible in the ledger.

Why does seedmyserver need my RCON password?

Joining needs no password, but crediting points does: only the RCON API lists the players with their Steam IDs, which is how we prove a seeder was really on your server. It is stored encrypted and only ever used to read the player list and, if you enable it, to manage queue priority. Note that most WARDOGS RCON APIs are plain HTTP — restrict the RCON port to our server IP in your hoster firewall.

Does this violate game publisher rules?

No. There are no bots, no automated clients and no payments. Real players join real servers and play — seedmyserver only coordinates who seeds where and keeps the score.
